A Place to Share

On the 4th April 2024 4:30 pm I made the very heart breaking decision to put my little furbaby Harley Kiwikiwi who was around 12,years old asleep. He had been to have his teeth out at his vet in  Gisborne when the vet told me  Harley had white spots under his tongue and around his mouth she said she hadn't seen this before but thought it could of been cancer. He lost the feeling in his left leg and couldn't walk. I hand fed him for two weeks and took him for his last rides We got him ready to be put down earlier but the vet said he could still stand then a couple of days later he worsen couldn't stand started wetting himself he was crying out in pain even though he had antibiotics. He was in hospice care at home then palliative care. My poor boy My love of my life we went everywhere did everything together shared cuddles even watched shortland St together he knew when his program was on. He was shitzu Maltese.
